INTERSTATE 84 BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION

This project includes the reconstruction of an existing 24-foot rural interstate roadway, eastbound and westbound in Pike County, PA.


Clearwater Construction is subcontracted to James D. Morrissey, Inc. and is providing the initial demolition and full construction of eight (8) bridge structures on Interstate 84 in Pike County and Interstate 4 in Wayne County, PA. These bridges will consist of two new 3-span PA bulb tee beam bridges and six single span composite spread box beam bridges.

The entire project, performed by James D. Morrissey and other subconsultants, includes: superpave wearing course 2” depth, superpave binder course 2-1/2" depth, superpave base course 6” and 12” depth and subbase 6” and 8” depth (all 24 feet in width) paved shoulders type 7, drainage, guiderail, fencing, temporary concrete barrier, concrete curb, landscaping, E & S Control measures, Temporary traffic control, highway lighting/ poles, electrical work, signing, delineators, pavement markings, Bridge removal, concrete repair work, highway lighting removal.
