PA TURNPIKE ROAD and BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION

Working as a subcontractor to J. D. Morrissey, Clearwater is performing the complete reconstruction of a 4-span mainline structure over Neshaminy Creek, complete construction of four ground mount sound barrier walls, and one structure mount sound barrier wall.

The bridge structure highlights include removal of existing bridge, staged construction, deep foundations, cofferdams in Neshaminy Creek, prestressed bulb-tee beams, and multiple phases of bridge deck. Ground mount sound barrier walls include fabricated posts embedded in drilled shafts supporting precast sound barrier panels.
